Hi All, I have noticed many people asking for the availability of private midwifes in certain areas, I have email other privately with a web site that lists midwifes in private practice in Victoria, but just realised it is extremely out of date *BY TEN YEARS* ooppssssies.
Anyway, with a little bit of a further look around I have found that there is actually MIPP (Midwifes in Private Practice) http://www.maternitycoalition.org.au/mippslist.html This lists midwifes in private practice with contact numbers and email addresses. Even if they are not in your area, they may know of others that are not members of this group.
