The Sydney Morning Herald has a new section on a Thursday called "Health
and Science". It carries stories about various health issues and has a
column called "First Person" which invites people to tell theirhealth
related story in 700 words.
The first story is about post natal depression and was reprinted from The
Telegraph in the UK. This woman starts off by saying that she had a
caesarean, and the wound got infected and she "got a bad start".....
Seems like a great opportunity for some of you to tell your stories, of
VBACs, water births, home births etc.... You need to send your story (700
words) with contact details, including daytime phone number
to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or fax 02 9282 2481.
There have been some wonderful tales on the ozmid list of triumph over
adversity and just plain success - why tell the rest of the world about
them? It will help to balance the negativity we seem to be getting these
days from all corners....
