Subject: [ozmidwifery] My Brother
Hi all, apologies to those on more than one list, you will be
getting this in quadruplicate. My brother is making a miraculous
recovery thanks to God and all the doctors and nurses at Royal Perth
Hospital. Thank you for your prayers and warm thoughts of support.
He has the drains out of his brain and nearly all the other tubes out.
He is able to sit up in a chair and yesterday walked 2 metres to the toilet
for a bowel action. You may not know how great that is but he says
that is the best yet!. He is talking coherently, has good logical
thought patterns, recognises everybody and doesn't seem to have any weakness
in his limbs. He drops off to sleep for a minute or two every 5 minutes
or so, but I guess that could be from the oedema etc. we will have to
wait and see what residual damage there is as time passes. Once again
thank everyone. Cheers, MM
