Just letting you all know about a wonderful new retreat happening at Petrea King's Quest for Life Centre at Bundanoon (between Canberra and Sydney) This is a program to nurture and support women through the doorway into motherhood, to assist in the awakening of the mother spirit and to bring back honour and reverence into the birth process and beyond. We are hoping to make it a regular event so I thought some of you might assist in getting the word out to the women you work with. A friendly nudge from a trusted carer or friend suggesting, 'isn't it time to nurture yourself,' might really help to get this off the ground, and start some regular retreats country wide. I have been talking with Jannine Barron who hosted the Byron Bay Retreat with Susan Basser last week, and from all accounts the feedback was more than they had imagined. The women found that secluded and focused time really valuable. We are hoping to join forces and provide regular retreats both north and south, and get the word out that this is available.
