Hello subscribers,

As National Caesarean Awareness Day is fast approaching, I wanted to inform you of what was happening in Melbourne.  A seminar has been organised by two wonderful consumer women and myself to highlight the issues surrounding VBAC, vaginal birth and caesarean birth.  This seminar is relevant to both consumers, midwives and childbirth educators.  The seminar will be held at Box Hill Hospital at 7.30pm on Thursday September 11th.  We have four speakers presenting on the evening and include Annie Sprague (Independent Midwife), Rhea Dempsey (childbirth educator) and Lionel Steinberg (Melbourne Obstetrician).  A consumer who has experienced a successful VBAC will also be presenting on the night.
We would be pleased if you could attend this evening, it is free and aims to offer further information to us all regarding issues facing childbearing women today.
Kind regards
