I did some research in my midwifery degree, about just that.  There is some great reference material out there, I'll list some here...
 
 
 
 
Anything by Denise Tiran is bound to be good, I found, and I also accessed the ongoing trial being done at the Radcliffe centre in Oxford by Ethel Burns, Caroline Blamey et al, which is fantastic also.

My place of work are now introducing the use of aromatherpy to our unit.  I was wondering if someone can give me info on the uses during labour, and precautions that need to be taken.  What are the best mixes ect.  in other words anything you have got would be greatfully appreciated.
