I don't know how this could be. I've never had a problem with taping US videos. I always do a back up copy of every video I buy as a just in case. After sometimes going through hassles to buy them I want to know that I always have a back up. The only thing I have found though is that some videos don't reproduce the colour very well and I can only assume it is because of the differing speeds of the 2 tape systems.
When you play a tape through one player and tape it through another I don't understand how a security anything can work because according to the player machine you are just playing it. Go figure huh?
