Andrea and all Yes - it is moderated, but it is moderated in a very sensible way, and - dare I say it - I do sometimes prefer a moderated list where feelings can sometimes run high on emotive issues and moderation enables ruffled feathers to be calmed and so on.
I love the uk mid list (just as I do this). The uk list I think is particularly useful for antipodean midwives etc., as it gives a useful perspective, and gives a chance to share international best practice (both ways). Yes it does have non-midwives (myself included), but they too give useful perspectives. There is also a student uk mid list as well I think.
