Hi,
I have posted to this list a few times, not very often, but I
always enjoy the discussions, articles and wisdom of the women
here.
Last year I travelled to QLD to study with Chris Vose, from
Optimum Birth, to become a doula. I have attended one birth since then, which
was my sisters birth, at a private hospital and was completely traumatised.
I have one little daughter who was born by C-section after a
terrible labor experience. Thus, igniting my passion for women and
birth.
At the moment I am really wanting to gain some experience as a
doula and would love to work with someone as my mentor. I understand that some
women may only want their doula with them but I am hoping that there is an
experienced doula out there whos clients would love an extra pair of willing
hands.
I live in the Blue Mountains, NSW and am prepared to travel
around Sydney, to Lithgow etc. I am available for about one birth a month at
present, plus prenatal visits.
If anyone lives in Sydney or Blue Mountains or anywhere
inbetween or around who is willing to take me on as their apprentice, so to
speak, I would love to come and learn and support women with you.
Please contact me [EMAIL PROTECTED]
4758 7429.
Thanks so much
Love Abby
(P.S. Natalie...hint hint! LOL!)
