Have a great time up there. Did several placements in 1997/98 up there and l-o-v-e-d it!! Couldn't rave about it enough. Even though other two other regional hospitals are within1.5 hours of us, chose to go up to Mildura because the care, mentoring, information, friendliness to me as a student was wonderful. Of course staff turnover will have changed, but Maree Carroll, Mary, Anne Smith, Gail and others whose names I can't remember were great.
The only negative point going to Mildura was that I compared every hospital afterwards to them, and they were found sadly lacking.
Enjoy it.
