Dear All

I urge you to support MC’s National Week of Action – May 1-9.

Events are being held in each state (except Tas, some needs to set up a group!!!)

QLD May 1

SA Fri May 7

NSW (Campbelltown, Wagga and Young), VIC, ACT, WA Sat May 8

NT Sunday May 9.

We especially need a crowd at the Sydney event to be held in Campbelltown.  Mark Latham lives 2 kilometres from the event and we need him and others to understand that this issue rates.  I have been disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm from those closest to the event. We have a bus travelling from Newcastle and I am doing  800 kms round trip to be there!

Keeping hearing bad health stories, come and support a positive solution.  Families across NSW are joining together to call on the Federal Government and Latham opposition to fund midwifery led  maternity care, proven best practice care for 80% of women  and only available to 1%.  This care could provide huge savings, improve health outcomes and return services to rural areas.
