Jenny Gamble, a lecturer from Griffith University,
recently did some research on this exact subject. Her research found that if
given adequate and accurate information less than one percent of women will
choose a C/s. Amazing how things get twisted isn't it?

Interesting how just after spending the day at
Midwifery Intensives A Current Affair airs a show on LSCS and why people are
choosing this option. It was stated at the workshop that people are not
often given information to make an informed choice and this was reiterated on
the programme. I wonder if the obstetric community will take note. My
thoughts are not likely as it is much easier for them.
