It's interesting isn't it??!!! I seem to only
be able to register a baby's weight in pounds and ounces, too!!! Whenever I get
told a baby's weight in kgs... I always ask "what's that in
pounds??"
I'm 32 yrs old and definately learnt metric in
school... but for babies - I can only talk imperial
!!!!
cheers,
Nicole

ounces!
I have to agree......I learnt metric at school
and I tally everything in metric except.........baby weights! It's like
it is the special system for babies! I can't even remember the weight in
kg's of my last baby. He was 8lb 8oz.

Interestingly, even though I trained in England
in 1972 and we worked in kilograms with babies weights I still relate
everything in pounds and ounces. Kilo's just don't seem to have the same
meaning!!
