Hello,
Fortunately, a friend noticed an inquiry on the chat line - regarding the
whereabouts of The Natural Birth Education & Research Centre in Lismore.

For viewers information, although well established in so far as its legal
entities, we have only recently acquired the venue and are at present
developing the necessary maintenance infrastructure.

Our organisation, operateds as a Not-for-Profit Charity - Incorporated
Association and has been preparing the project for three years. It is our
intention to offer a Higher Education Graduate Diploma in Naturalbirth
which has the following pre-requisites - Midwives, General Practitioner or
Obstetric registration.

We notice one of the replies on Ozmid line refered to our association to Mr
Dick Ried and the Southern Cross University.
Research is not yet conducted by Southern Cross University through our
centre.
However, in the future it is our intention to assist students with their
research where possible.
As well as other valuable community members, our executive committee has
representatives from the College of Australian & Indigenous Peoples (SCU)
and the Griffith Nursing School QLD .
If anyone, would like further clarification in regards to our present
functions and services please do not hesitate to call
us on 61 2 6629 5155. Alternatively, some information is available via our
web sit >www.naturalbirth.org.au<.
We trust this information helps.
Regards
Margaret Spain (Santo)
Secretary
The Natural Birth Education & Research Centre Inc
