The CoolWebSearch infection seems to be coming in via e-mails from
Ozmidwifery. This is a trojan which modifies MS Explorer. If you have
noticed that your browser home page unexpectedly altered, you may have
CoolWebSearch. I have been getting infected fairly regularly over the last
couple of months, usually after my wife reads her ozmidwifery e-mail. The
infection can come in via either e-mail or web site.

For more details, and a tool to remove it, go to:

I would also suggest that you all get & install Ad-Aware from
http://www.lavasoft.de/. Keep it up to date & run it regularly. It's free
and targets various annoying and hostile items from the web such as spyware.
These are not viruses as such and are not usually covered by an AV program.
This does NOT take the place of an up to date AV program which is also an
essential piece of software.
