Dear friends, I met Ina May Gaskin already in two congresses of Midwifery Today and I will meet her again in oktober in the next congres in Germany. She is a very good midwife in heart, mind and hands. I followed her workhops on shoulderdystocia and last year I had a homebirth of a third child as I met the shoulderdystocia. The first thing I thaught was : Oh Ina My help me. The woman was on the birth chair and I said her to go over to all fours. I entered the vagina with my fingers and I was able to lift the sacrum. There was a lot of space, I could reach the arm of the baby that was behind his back, instead of before his chest. I hooked it on and could bring the arm out. The body followed easely then. The baby was 4860 gr. He hadn't any damage nor the mother, no episio or rupture. My dream is to go to the farm and to stay there for a couple of weeks to learn from those midwifes. They live in an atmosphere of respect for women and children and there abilitys. They have great outcomes.
