When asked why i think women are choosing cs I ask if anyone is looking at the way in which 'natural' birth is being treated in hospitals. What are we as a society doing to natural vaginal birth that makes abdominal surgery the prefered option??
We all know the answers to that one!

- Book in for a Caesar with your local friendly obstetrician who can probably fit in 10-20 cut and shuts per day!
or be reckless (so the obs would have us think) and do your own thing and have a home birth with a midwife who will be with you one-on-one for as long as you need her and will assist you to birth your child into a loving environment surrounded by people who really care.
What is happening to the middle ground?
I can't believe an informed decision can result in a choice for elective caesarean - what is happening to women??????
