Hi Sylvia, Something that most women don't know, is that many babies born by cesarean section have forceps applied to their heads. I could be way off target here, but I've seen lots of babies with marks that look a lot like the one's you are describing, and they are the result of forceps from a cesarean birth. It will be interesting to see if they fade in a bit of time.
