Hi, A client and I have been discussing protein in urine and how much is too much, when to get worried etc. She was admitted to hospital at 37 weeks with her daughter and induced, apparently due to high blood pressure and protein in her urine. A friend of hers had a similiar symptoms of pre eclampsia but was not admitted to hospital and went on to have a natural birth. So, my question is, can the test measure quantities of protein or just pick up protein in general. If it is in quantities, what level is too much?
