evidence based practice
Hi Sonja
Lesley Page in "The New Midwifery. Science &
Sensitivity in Practice' gives the 5 steps of evidence-based
midwifery:
1) Finding out what is important to the woman
& her family;
2) Using information from the clinical
examination;
3) Seeking & assessing evidence to inform
decisions;
4) Talking it through;
5) Reflecting on outcomes, feelings and
consequences.
