I’ve seen it creeping back in to Metro hospitals here in W.A. MM     We are behind the times up here then....we use it at Atherton and Cairns Base also use it.   We only use syntocinon these days, ergometrine is reserved for true PPH's - I think most places are the same in this - syntometrine as a routine 3rd stage drug is not reccommended anymore.
