Hello everyone,

I just wanted to remind everyone of the BellyBelly.com.au Annual Event here in Melbourne which is next Saturday! Full details can be found here: http://bellybelly.com.au/general/annual-bellybelly-event-2005. The event has been extended until 4pm to cater with the amount of speakers and to allow sufficient break times. Registration is 10am-10.20am, (payment needs to be made before the day).

If anyone can assist with promoting the event with a flyer in their centre or unit, it would be greatly appreciated as a non-profit event – we’d love a great turnout! Please let me know if you need flyers and I will get them to you asap or forward this email to anyone you think would be interested in attending.

The day will involve some wonderful guest speakers including members of our support panel and others including:

  • Pinky McKay (gentle parenting author) Babies and Sleep
  • Daniel Chable (Clinical Psychologist, Psychotherapist) “It’s not rocket science – a manual for relationship survival/maintenance/enhancement during the young family years.”
  • Brenda Manning (midwife, MIPP) Aiming for the birth you want and how you can best work with your Ob / midwife to achieve it
  • PANDA (post and antenatal depression) Identifying ante-natal and post-natal depression and supporting those with depression.
  • Tracey Habron (personal health consultant) Detox your body to prepare for conception and pregnancy
  • Sue Parsons (trained by ‘the Babymaker’) Identifying why you may be having difficulties conceiving, symptoms to be aware of, how the hormones work, tips for both males and females to enhance fertility, and tests that may need to be done.
  • Melanie Cane (Doula) Finding the right birth support person for you, what a professional support person can offer and their role in birth and the post-partum period.
  • Diane Gardner (HypnoBirthing® Practitioner) Talking about HypnoBirthing® and the new Australian method, Calmbirthing

There will be a live version of ‘Ask the Support Panel’ where you can write questions on cards and they can choose to answer your questions at the given time. The two course meal is delicious and a great time is guaranteed at only $50 per adult!
