Hello Listers,
Sherokee Ilse will be out guest in February as part of the Preparing for
Birth and Parenthood Conference we are presenting at Sydney University. If
you haven't checked this out yet, here's the link to the full program and
all the details. Anyone who is involved in parent and prenatal education
will want to attend this Conference - a skills based event that will be
showcasing the best in this field.
While she is in Australia, Sherokee has agreed to facilitate a series of
workshops on "When a Baby dies - making a difference" especially for
midwives. This is an area where we all feel sensitive - knowing how to
handle this situation in a supportive way while dealing with the trauma for
ourselves. Sherokee has written many books on this subject and is the
leading expert on stillbirth, miscarriage and neonatal death in the
US. These workshops will have limited places, to ensure an intimate and
supportive environment in which to explore this difficult tropic, so early
registration will be essential.

If anyone wants paper copies of the program and registration details for
either of these events, please call our office on 02 9564 2322 and we will
post some out to you.
Regards,
Andrea
