Hello all Please indulge me. 13 years ago at this time exactly I was in labour with my youngest.  After an elective C/S and a sucessful but totally medically managed VBAC, I was finally experiencing a truly normal labour.  It still amazes me that even after 13 years I have such strong feelings about it, each year at this time I re-live the birth in my head and feel such joy at the memories. Sadly I do not have this memory for my two other childrens' births. I know that I will still be awake at 12.30 tonight which is the time she was born, and every stage of that evening is still so clear in my mind. I guess this is the reason we feel so passionate about what we do, even those of us who have not had the experience, know how precious it is, and want as many women as possible to know this too.   Ah well, tomorrow I have a new teenager in the family.
