[ozmidwifery] telemetry ctg machine?

Hi wise midwives,                          Do any of you know any compelling reasons or research on the advantages or disadvantages of using telemetry ctg machines as apposed to the usual ones? I'm trying to get my head around whether they are a good or bad thing to have in a practice setting and how having one avaliable for use changes how midwives care for women in labour.
