I've got two placental maca trees that are doing
very well 6 months and 4 years post-planting. Have also seen some lovely pots of
roses thrive on placentas, daisy bushes, star fruit trees, figs, jacarandas,
flame trees and many more.....I have seen a couple of hardy natives (can't
remember what variety particularly) cark it supposedly from overfertilisation on
planting. Makes sense to choose nutrient-loving rainforest species over
heathland species and others that naturally grow on a nutrient-poor
substrate.
Helpful?
Cheers
