Righto. I'm only using Windows Live Mail client - so I'm not sure that any of
that stuff works for me... but good on you for having read that spec

Hi Darren,

I'm using this spec as a basis for the lists moving forward:
http://www.nisto.com/listspec/ietf/draft-baer-listspec-01.txt

Use SMTP headers to filter the list. We're not putting subject like prefixes
back principally because the current software we use does not support it :) but
more so because that is an appropriate behaviour for people stuck with
primitive ASCII mail readers. You can use inbox rules, header-field
high-lighting and Google labels/etc to filter based on SMTP header values.

Use the header:
list-id: "ozmoss" <[email protected]>to filter. This will allow you to sort the
mails without the list munging the original author's message.

  Hurrah!

If you are reading this email, then it means that the OzMOSS list has been
moved to the new server and everything is working.

  To post to the list

  Send messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

  To unsubscribe

Send an empty e-mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

  To subscribe

Send an empty e-mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You will receive a
validation message to confirm your email address, to which you must reply to be
subscribed.

  Message filtering/Inbox sorting

There is an SMTP header set for list-id which you can filter messages on.
This is better than prefixing/munging the subject line.

  List archive

The list archive can be found at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL
PROTECTED]/.

  Support

If you are having problems with your subscription or you have questions about
the list, please contact myself or Codify who host the list using this form:
