Righto. I'm only using Windows Live Mail client - so I'm not sure that any of that stuff works for me... but good on you for having read that spec

We're not putting subject like prefixes back principally because the current software we use does not support it :) but more so because that is an appropriate behaviour for people stuck with primitive ASCII mail readers. You can use inbox rules, header-field high-lighting and Google labels/etc to filter based on SMTP header values. Use the header: list-id: "ozmoss" <[email protected]>to filter. This will allow you to sort the mails without the list munging the original author's message. David. On Wed, Dec 3, 2008 at 9:27 PM, Darren Neimke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Thanks Grant. Can we please get the [OzMoss] stamp put back into the title of the emails please? If you are reading this email, then it means that the OzMOSS list has been moved to the new server and everything is working. To post to the list Send messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe Send an empty e-mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To subscribe Send an empty e-mail message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You will receive a validation message to confirm your email address, to which you must reply to be subscribed. Message filtering/Inbox sorting There is an SMTP header set for list-id which you can filter messages on. This is better than prefixing/munging the subject line.
