I am programmatically adding new rows to a SharePoint list, I was wondering if it is possible to retrieve the ID of the newly inserted row. Similar to what DBMS offer i.e. LAST_INSERT_ID. I am using the sharepoint List Service. If it is possible can someone please provide an example or point me to the right direction.
