Not that I know. That figure is not actually of "users" but of licenses - which 
is the number of end licenses that MS sold.

Consider that each internet facing site is considered as a lot of end 
users...and you will find that the number of 100mil doesn't mean anything 
really. Potentially, that number can grow in the future to more than the earth 
population...

Last year there was a figure of 100 million SharePoint users posted around the 
web...

Has this doubled by now?

I am looking at doing a presentation on "SharePoint for Sql Guys" at the Sydney 
Sql Server User Group, and it would be nice to quote a larger figure!
