Another option would be to export / import the site. Just make sure you preserve the security.

Example: We have a site called "Intranet" (http://intranet.com). Within this web app there is a site called "Collaboration" (http://intranet.com/collaboration). Is it possible to restore from backup only the "Collaboration" site? Hence we don't wont to override all other data within the extranet with old data from backup. We are currently using Backup Exec to backup the sql database. I am aware of the sharepoint add-on for the software but am unsure if it will do whats required. Any experiences, thoughts or suggestions?
