Used DMP - some issues, but in general it's good. Would like to try Quest and DocAve next time and hear comparison of those tools
I think that the choice of Backup vendors depends on SLA and affordable downtime. Otherwise OOTB stsadm do it jobs :) Michael Nemtsev | MOSS MCTS, MS MVP Readify B: http://msmvps.com/blogs/laflour/ T: +61 424 184 978 E: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tom Bizannes Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 10:23 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: What's the latest thoughts on SharePoint backup vendors? Hi Guys, I'm doing a presentation in a few weeks time at the sql server user group in Sydney on "SharePoint for Sql Guys!" It was kind of prompted by Microsoft's white paper on optimising huge sites...and recent clients having terabyte plus SharePoint Database requirements. Just wondering what your thoughts were on SharePoint Backup Vendors and which one's you liked the most.
