It's one of those brick wall moments for me right now.
For some reason, my log in credientials on a client machine has turned me into "System Account". I have checked that my account is not listed as a system account in Central Administration, the SharePoint admin account is not an application pool account. When I log into CA, my name is listed nicely, but not on the Intranet page. Any tips or advice? Have roamed the net of course, no fix yet, there are blogs saying that updatefarmcredentials fixes this problems but for me it doesn't.
