Ah, that'll be a feature then. :) Is the CQWP is responsible for the bad paths? Usually I'd expect everything to break, not just a few images.
Do all the images still exist in the destination library? I'm wondering what state they were in at the time - minor version, checked out etc. Regards, Paul Online Developer, ICT CEO Sydney From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ajay Sent: Monday, 23 March 2009 12:30 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Stsadm Import and Content Deployment woes [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED] It's a publishing page and content query web part showing 6 rollup images. Strange thing is that 2 images are showing and 4 images have got wrong or the old urls in them. Images within publishing pages, or images within layout and master pages? If through the UI then usually they use a relative path which includes the site name. e.g. /ICT/PublishingImages/teamsite-ict.jpg Site templates suffer from this as well. Even if you republished them, it still didn't work. So I deleted the destination site and redeployed it. That has fixed the problem. It hasn't appeared again. ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>] On Behalf Of Ajay Sent: Sunday, 22 March 2009 8:03 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Stsadm Import and Content Deployment woes Hi Guys, I had a site at address http://mysite<http://mysite/> and I exported this site and installed this at client side at address http://mysite.staging.com<http://mysite.staging.com/>. Then I brought the site back from client after content was entered to my dev environment. Now this is the master copy of the site. When I went to deployment at client again, I exported the site and then when I import on site called http://mysite<http://mysite/>,, everything is okay. (Same name as the original site). But when I import this at client on site called http://mysite.uat.com<http://mysite.uat.com/> then few images don't show up and the image path for them is http://mysite.staging.com<http://mysite.staging.com/> On my dev server I have even tried doing OOTB Content Deployment from http://mysite<http://mysite/> to http://mysite.uat.com<http://mysite.uat.com/> and same result Has anyone seen something like this or any ideas....
