Ah, that'll be a feature then. :)

Is the CQWP is responsible for the bad paths? Usually I'd expect everything to
break, not just a few images.

Do all the images still exist in the destination library? I'm wondering what
state they were in at the time - minor version, checked out etc.

It's a publishing page and content query web part showing 6 rollup images.
Strange thing is that 2 images are showing and 4 images have got wrong or the
old urls in them.

Ajay,

What sort of images are you referring to? Images within publishing pages, or
images within layout and master pages?

If through the UI then usually they use a relative path which includes the site
name.

e.g. /ICT/PublishingImages/teamsite-ict.jpg

Site templates suffer from this as well.

I ran following command

stsadm.exe -o deletesite -url http://mysite.uat.com<http://mysite.uat.com/>
stsadm.exe -o createsite -url http://mysite.uat.com<http://mysite.uat.com/>
-ownerlogin ajkh\mossadmin -owneremail a...@ajay-loc<mailto:a...@ajay-loc>

And then I ran a full deploy job on the above blank site.

Hi,

Were you doing a Full deployment or a Incremental deployment to the client
site? If you are doing a full you need to delete the destination data and
re-deploy.

I've had something similar but instead of images, it was actually pages. Even
if you republished them, it still didn't work. So I deleted the destination
site and redeployed it. That has fixed the problem. It hasn't appeared again.

Subject: Stsadm Import and Content Deployment woes

Hi Guys,

I had a site at address http://mysite<http://mysite/> and I exported this site
and installed this at client side at address
http://mysite.staging.com<http://mysite.staging.com/>.

Then I brought the site back from client after content was entered to my dev
environment. Now this is the master copy of the site.

When I went to deployment at client again, I exported the site and then when I
import on site called http://mysite<http://mysite/>,, everything is okay. (Same
name as the original site).

But when I import this at client on site called
http://mysite.uat.com<http://mysite.uat.com/> then few images don't show up and
the image path for them is http://mysite.staging.com<http://mysite.staging.com/>

On my dev server I have even tried doing OOTB Content Deployment from
http://mysite<http://mysite/> to http://mysite.uat.com<http://mysite.uat.com/>
and same result

Has anyone seen something like this or any ideas....

Thanks

Ajay
