Thanks for the reply, to my knowledge SPD doesn't leverage the feature schema as I cannot activate/deactivate in the feature settings.
I did look everywhere for the description as I too thought it would be easily entered in the UI when building the workflow but funny enough there isn't. Also had a peak in the workflow.xml config files but no description there either. Anybody else have any ideas?
