Add a filter web part to the page that references the 'car' column.

Subject: Quick creation of custom calendar views

Hi All,

I'm currently creating a document centre to use as car / meeting room /
resource booking tool. The way I am going to work it, is for each site (eg
Collingwood) you have a calendar for each resource type (eg cars). Then within
this I create a custom column, which is a radio button selection with a list of
all the cars by license plate. Then within the calendar itself I am creating a
view for each car, which filters only bookings for that car, I will also create
views that use the filter query to select multiple items...eg being able to
view all cars by their type (eg ute) or department.

I'm just wondering, after I create the custom column with the selections (Which
is easy, just paste our car excel data in notepad, do some formatting changes
and then paste into the column selections in MOSS) is there an easy way to
create a view to filter each one so I don't have to create a custom view for
every single one?

Cheers,

Ken Thompson
