Are the sites collections all on the same server or different servers?

I take it you are doing this to allow a different content database for each
division(site collection)?

FYI the WISDOM DMF SharePoint Add-on allows you to see multiple site
collections and even servers in one tree view à much easier for end users.

Subject: List Sites created using template/definition

Hey guys,

I have a client who is planning on using divisional site collections, with
project sites under each division. I'm thinking that if we create each of
these sites using a standard template or site definition, then we could somehow
create a dynamic listing of all project sites in all site collections at the
top level.

Has anyone done something like this before? Easy?
