I'm now officially out of ideas. Only other solution is to add the links
manually to point to the pages. :\

Scheduling is also not activated for the pages library, anyway do you think any
workaround for moving the newly created pages into some navigation folders so
that can navigate to those page in quick navigation?

Weird. Never noticed it myself.

Only other thing I can think is that scheduling is enabled on the Pages library
and the pages have expired?

They do understand that this is a per site setting, yes?

Yes, the Show pages checkbox is enabled and the publishing feature 'Office
SharePoint Server Publishing' is enabled, is there any other feature I should
activate, according the the client this has been working earlier, their
environment didnt have any upgrades and it has suddenly happened.

thanks,
Prashanth

Have you checked the Show pages checkbox?

Is publishing feature enabled? If not, they'll be getting created in the site
root which is not covered by this navigation control.

Subject: navigation configuring problem

hi all,
In one of our clients environment we have this problem where the newly created
pages (standard sharepoint welcome page with webpart) doesnt appear in
'Navigation Editing and Sorting' section in SiteActions -> Modify Navigation,
therefore we are not able to manage the 'quick navigation' for the newly
created pages.
any help is much appreciated.

Prashanth
