Hi,

I have seen this behaviour with site columns that have default values specified
within the Content Type.

Subject: Problem with 'Alerts' information

Hi,

I’m having a little issue on the information I’m receiving from a doc lib
‘Alert’. Basically, users subscribing to doc lib and receive an email on any
change. In validating this I’ve noticed that if I change just one metadata
value on an item and apply the modification...the email I receive shows that
I’ve changed more than the single field value. Meaning, column1 was changed but
the email alerts me that column2 and column3 have also been modified when they
haven’t!?

The document library contains custom content types deployed as a feature.

Ideas?

Damien
