Ok my bad I have not been able to use the site content and structure to
move librarys only sites but this should be achievable using Lapointe's
stsadm extensions.

An Example of what I am trying is below:

SET SPAdminTool="%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\12\BIN\stsadm.exe"

%SPAdminTool% -o gl-copylist -sourceurl
"http://site/_catalogs/masterpage/Forms/View.aspx"; -targeturl
"http://site/site/"; -includeusersecurity -updateversions 2 -versions 4
-retargetlinks

It goes ahead with the export but I get the following error:

[11/6/2009 3:09:20 PM]: Error: Unknown compression type in a cabinet

Any ideas?

Subject: Masterpage Gallery Dilemma

Hi All

I have a problem were a user has used the masterpage gallery to store
documents which also have allot of metadata associated with them. There
are multiple versions and also views setup. I have moved and copied
document libraries in the past using the "site content and structure
tool" which does preserve the metadata but unfortunately the masterpage
galleries don't show up.

Is there any way of copying the library somewhere else preserving the
metadata and versioning?

And yes I have locked down all masterpage galleries so users with full
control can't access them from here on in.

Regards,
