It's set in stone by the query. But if you think that's odd, try creating a list view with no folders and see what the C&S tool does with that. :)

When you change the list's ordering, this is reflected when you view the list itself, but when you go to Site Actions > View Reports, the ordering there is based on the order that the report items were added. Does anyone know how to change the list ordering displayed from here?
