Just checked that - it's disabled, but thanks for the pointer.

Currently going through any and all custom code to ensure everything is
disposed of. Next stop, MS support ;)

Mate,

Are you running Windows Indexing Service? Sometimes when it indexes a
particular DLL, it causes deadlocks.

Cheers,
Tommy

Almost on a daily basis - every day since 28 Jan except for the 6th, 7th & 8th
of Feb, and twice on the 4th. (I saved and cleared the logs on the 28th) It
seems to happen any time between around 10:30pm and 3am (which affects our UK
branches).

However, CPU usage on the machine tends to spike up to around 99% usage a
couple of times a day - generally around 13:30 here, which is when I generally
recycle the app pool as soon as I notice it. This doesn't let it reach the
"deadlock" stage, so it doesn't log it.

Is the event recurring in your logs? How often?

We've been recycling the app pool 3-4 times a day for the past week or so :(

I had that before and I simply recycled the app pool and it stopped appearing.

There's nothing in the logs referring to SQL at all, it seems to purely be an
IIS issue.

It's a 2003 SP2 server, with .Net 3.0 installed. I'm checking windows update
now to see what patches etc are available.

What .net framework level do you have... is it 3.5 SP1? If no... consider
running Windows Update. Is it a 2003 Server?

I haven't seen that particular one, is there any event log entries which
correspond to the approx. time which show SQL server deadlocks?

Hi all

Has anyone ever seen this in their event logs? If so, any tips on resolving the
issue?

ISAPI 'C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll' reported
itself as unhealthy for the following reason: 'Deadlock detected'.
