Other things to do might include clearing download cache. If you do all of
these things and a reboot and you still have issues, you might be able to use
Fusion logs to determine where specific assemblies are being loaded from at
runtime.

1) check to see if the correct version has been deployed to all WFE's2) you can
use GACUTIL to list the contents of the GAC - and then uninstall any that you
do not want to be in there

I
have an Utilities.dll that other features utilize to create emails being sent
to users.
A
while ago I updated the email format, rebuilt the solution and replaced the old
dll in the GAC with the new.
Everything
is working fine, but under very specific conditions the process for a
particular form sends both types of emails. (Old and new)
I
am not sure how this can happen, as all the features use this same
utilities.dll, but only one in a particular scenario ends up
sending
both types of email.
Is
there a way I can “flush” the GAC or something?
