I think the issue is that they have now hidden it away under 'more options'. I also didn't notice that when I created my first SC and chose the root template in 2010.
Now if only I could understand the change to their default non-publishing site breadcrumbs layout and behaviour - it used to be below the top nav in the contents pane but showed all parents in the hierarchy, now it is higher up the page above the top nav but only shows where you are under the current site. Both lack common sense - why can't it use the same inheritance settings approach as the nav! Seems like masterpage changes are still needed to get what most clients expect. Mike.
