I never had created a feature before but I guess I can search around google
start to play with....

Before that, basically I would like to hide some menu items in the
quicklaunch, add new items (also quicklaunch) visible to everyone, and a
couple menu items only visible to My Site owners (eg like Edit my details
menu link) and visible site collection admistrator.

Is this possible?
