We are assisting the QLD government with IT infrastructure and support and we are directly assisting the Queensland Flood Operations Group by providing a SharePoint environment free of charge to assist with coordinating incident reports and management. But we need the community’s help to provide us extra hands on deck for customization and some development work. If any of you are Brisbane based and have any capacity to assist us on a MOSS2007 dev project on a volunteer basis, please contact me directly. (My details are in my signature) Thanks and look forward to any help you can provide. As you are all probably aware, Brisbane received ~4.6 metres of flood waters over the past two days. The CBD escaped relatively unscathed but there are a lot of low-lying areas around the capital and up North that got completely smashed. I have two close friends who have lost their homes and one who has lost a floor of their home. One of them still can't even get back to see his house at Graceville. In some parts of the state, economically disadvantaged people in low lying areas have lost their houses with no insurance. There are two things you can do to help: 1. If you're local, Council is calling for whatever volunteers they can on Saturday. 2. If you're local and interstate/international, you can donate to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal: http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html David -- David Connors | [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> | www.codify.com<http://www.codify.com> Software Engineer Codify Pty Ltd Phone: +61 (7) 3210 6268 | Facsimile: +61 (7) 3210 6269 | Mobile: +61 417 189 363 V-Card: https://www.codify.com/cards/davidconnors Address Info: https://www.codify.com/contact
