Hi.

I'm using a dvwp to display some text with markup. I've used the StripHTML
template from
SPXSLT<http://spxslt.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=StripHTML&referringTitle=Documentation>
and
it will happily remove all html. I hit a problem when I try to change the
test conditions and then the concat function so I can target specific tags.

Original - works

<xsl:template name="StripHTML">
<xsl:param name="HTMLText"/>
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="contains($HTMLText, '<')">
<xsl:call-template name="StripHTML">
<xsl:with-param name="HTMLText"
select="concat(substring-before($HTMLText, '<'),
substring-after($HTMLText, '>'))"/>
</xsl:call-template>
</xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<xsl:value-of select="$HTMLText"/>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose>
</xsl:template>

Mine - broken
<xsl:template name="StripHTML">
<xsl:param name="HTMLText"/>
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="contains($HTMLText, '<a')">
<xsl:call-template name="StripHTML">
<xsl:with-param name="HTMLText"
select="concat(substring-before($HTMLText, '<a'),
substring-after($HTMLText, '>'))"/>
</xsl:call-template>
</xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<xsl:value-of select="$HTMLText"/>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose>
</xsl:template>

I get a 'XSLT transform failed : 0x8007000e : not enough storage is
available to complete this function' in SPD.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan.
