Hyper-V is Microsoft's Hypervisor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypervisor)
implementation for Windows Server 2008.

Generally speaking, a Hypervisor is a software layer that allows guest
operating systems to interface with the hardware and resources on the host
machine.

Just googled for "how to tell if Hyper V is installed" and got this as the
