Subject: Upgrading SQL Server 2008 R2 to latest Service Pack and Cumulative
Update

Hi all,

Is SharePoint 2010 tied to any particular SQL Server 2008 R2 build?

In other words can I update SQL Server 2008 R2 to the latest build (at the
moment Service Pack 1 / Cumulative Update 4) without worrying what build of
SharePoint 2010 is running?

Or do I have to patch SharePoint 2010 to a particular build as well? In which
case where do I source what builds of SharePoint 2010 are matched to what
builds of SQL Server?

Thanks in advance,

Victor Isakov
