Could this be IE passing domain credentials automatically, and other browsers
not doing so? Try changing your Intranet Zone (If that is where your SharePoint
server is located in IE zones) security setting so that Automatic Logon with
current credentials is disabled, and see if you then receive the error in IE as
well.

Also, what is the UDCX pointing to? Is it another server (i.e. not your
SharePoint front end). This will only work if you have your web application set
to Kerberos mode (Double-hop).

Subject: InfoPath 2010 - 401 error in non-IE browsers with Universal Data
Connection

Hi all,

I'm getting a 401 Unauthorised with a UDCX file when using anything but IE.
Cross domain access and all other settings have been applied.

I have permission to the remote list that the connection is trying to access
and have also ensure to login to the host site prior to editing the form.

I can't find anything online to suggest that non-IE browsers aren't supported.

I'm at the point where I'm about to embed explicit credentials.

Regards,

Paul
