in the release notes says that if u open a SL2 project with Blend 3 it will automatically upgrade the project to SL3 and this cannot be undone, so if u want to keep editing SL2 project u will have to do so using Blend 2.
I installed and there are only 2 options to projects SL3 or WPF. Cheers, G.
